  • Minnesota End of Summer Pot Luck Picnic!

    Mark your calendar for the Twin Cities potluck albinism picnic!

    When? Saturday, September 20th from 10:00am - 2:00pm

    Where? Beards Plaissance on the west side of Lake Harriett in Minneapolis.

    What? Please bring a dish to share and beverages for your crew. And, of
    course, sunscreen. :-)

    We’ll supply plates, utensils, condiments, etc. There is a toddler park on the
    grounds, but if you have some fun summer games bring those along as well.

    We’ve reserved the picnic shelter, so we’ll plan on gathering rain or shine.

  • Raising a Child with Albinism

    bookfront_small Parents of children with albinism now have access to a one-of-a-kind book that will undoubtedly be a go-to resource for years to come. Unveiled at NOAH’s 12th National Conference in Las Vegas, Raising a Child with Albinism: A Guide to the Early Years is a 200-page volume containing contributions from close to 20 different writers. It provides a singularly authoritative source for new parents of children with albinism. Edited by NOAH member Susan DuBois, mother of two children with albinism, the reassuring and comforting book is illustrated with color photos contributed by Positive Exposure’s Rick Guidotti and eight other

    • How do I stimulate my child’s vision?
    • The social impact of albinism.

  • NOAH's Biannual Board of Directors Election ~ Nominations Close August 1st

    NOAH's Biannual Board of Directors nominations period officially ends at midnight August 1, 2008.

    Shortly thereafter, nominees will be contacted by the nominations chair to determine interest in and qualification to serve on NOAH's board of directors and the official ballot will be set.

    CURRENT NOAH members will be sent an official election ballot by postal mail in late August. Only members whose dues are current are eligible to vote in the election.

    All ballots must be received by September 15th to be counted in this election. 

    The newly elected board will serve from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2010
