I have looked in the teen section and I've seen that there was nothing in it.

So I thought that I would start a conversation with the teens about going to there high school proms.

How many of you want to your jouner or sinour proms?

Did you go by yourself or did you take someone?

I hope that I'm not being too nosey but I feel that it's a very good topic to start with the teens.

How many of you did not go to your prom and why?

Is it because you could not find someone to go with you or is it that you could not afford to go?

All I am doing is picking an interesting topic for the teens to talk about.

I'm pretty sure this topic was started before, and I'm also pretty sure I talked with you within the thread.

But anyway, I didn't go to my Junior prom because my bf couldn't afford to go and I didn't want to go without him. I did attend my Senior prom, and I brought my boyfriend (now ex) with me.

Yes! You are correct! This topic has been brought up before by me but it was called "no date for the prom".

I'm pretty sure that there where a lot of things that did not go to there prom because they could not afford to.

As for the people with albinism, I am also sure that some of them could not afford to go but I am wondering if there where some other reasons why they could not go?

I would like to hear some other reasons why some of the teens with albinism didn't go to there prom.

You are right that there is a big age difference but I thought it would be a very good idea to strike up an interesting conversation with the teens.

As far as beeing a troll, I don't think so. A troll is someone that is looking to stir up trouble on the webboards. That's not me.

I just like to create certain topics to talk about just to liven up the webboards. That's all.

You see! This is why I am pushing for the AOC webboards to be changed. There is no need for the AOC to have a guest sign-in. It should be totally eliminated.

As far as the prom thing is concerned, it was just something to spark a conversation with the teens. I could have picked a number of other topics to talk about but I chose the prom thing.

To have a person call themselved the missing bling and come on here and throw insults is not a very good idea for there very first post.

As far as the prom thing, I just thought it would be very good idea to talk about because some people with albinism may not go to there prom for social isolation reason or some other reasons.

i loved my prom even though it was an all girl school we had fun and  i was princess bording school is the best

I went to my junior (grade 9) prom (Semi-Formal in Canada) and I plan on going to prom in grade 12 with friends.
