Are people with albinism easily targeted for crime? Are they easy?

Whats up with these questions??? How many persons with albinism do you see o the news for such a thing?

Yes there is. What I also want to know is why we're considered gifts in Mwanza, Tanzania, Africa.

I don't think that people with albinism are easy target.  Where i am from people are scared of robbing people with albinism because they believe it will bring them bad luck.  How that that huh?

 people with Albinism are reffered to as "gifts" in Africa because culturally people were afraid as they did not understand the lack of colour therefore people believed these children were a gift from the spirits,  Many girls with Albinism in Zimbabwe are called 'Chipo" which means gift. However on the same note many felt it was a curse and would rather the"gift" was not bestowed on them.

Please be careful about making generalizations.

"They" : who are "they"?

"In Africa" : There are over 50 countries in Africa and only one records the killings you describe.

Even though you speak of what is an unfortunate truth, you put it in a way that taints everyone African including the countries that are working hard to make themselves better.

Remember that making generalizations hurt people. We as albinos know very well the effects of making generalizations so lets be careful not to do what we fight against.
