Last minute decision, but DH and I decided it was important... I've been home from China with our daughter for only a week, but its been enough to learn that while we know a lot, we definitely need to learn more.  Its just going to be me and my 20 month old daughter.

I want to go only so that I could see and hold all of your little ones. I have never seen so many cute kids! Mine are grown and I so miss having little ones around!

If you haven't been to Vegas before and are out on the strip at all, please stop and see the Bellagio Fountains! Awesome, free entertainment - depending on the song you hear, it's liable to bring tears to your eyes.

So I decided last minute that I wanted to go to this years conference...didn't get to do any fundraising and only got help with a small portion....so I have to come up with the other 1200.00 but will make it work.  I am going to be bringing my 3 1/2 yr old son who has OCA1B but leaving my girls at home due to finances of course.  I can't wait to come and learn as much as I possibly can and be able to meet more families and kids :)

I have to buy the tix tomorrow, reserve rooms and send in my registration...but I'm 98% sure we are going :)

we're going, all reserved and paid for. my son is turning 9 on sunday. we've never been to a conference. he's been diagnosed as OA but i have my doubts (maybe oca?). looking forward to meeting new people!

WE are so glad that finally all is set, we are going to Las  Vegas for the NOAH conference! We are coming all the way from Norway and its going to be our first time to a NOAH conference, and our very first time to the United States of America! Our flights and accommodation reservations are done , the US  visas have been stamped in our passports, and we look foward to an exciting time at the NOAH Conference. One day our cutey, Munashe Zoe will learn with pride that we stepped on the American continent for the firs time in 2008, all because he had been born to us. The trip is of great sentimental value to us  and a special tribute to our son. We look foward to a wonderful time in Las Vegas and just to meet all the wonderful people we have known through the Albinism on line community.

Wow, I am so glad there are a lot of families going!!

Hey all!

 Things have been so hectic that I am not sure if I let everyone know that my son Dylan and I will be coming to the conference.  Mailing the papers tomorrow (Saturday)  We decided last minute to go on this trip but booked the flights and so on.  I am very excited to learn what I can while we are there as well as meet other families...one in particular that only lives a few hours from me.  :)  My son is too young for the adventure park etc but I want to take him down to the strip to see the lights on Thursday or Sunday night, the billagio water shows, the treasure island sinking ship, circus circus etc....SO if anyone wants to come with us and walk and have some fun seeing the lights at night...please let me know so that we aren't the only ones going. 

Can't wait to meet everyone!  Is there any sort of count of the amount of people coming yet?

Oh that sounds nice! We will be getting in Wednesday night. Thursday I plan on volunteering from 2-4, But I would love to go on a walk with other families. I am sure my 3 year old would love that too!!!

Hi im new to the NOAH site. But I just wanted to say that it is awesome to see so many families connecting. My family and I are going to vegas for the conference and it is our first time attending Our son is 5 and has ocular albinism and we have two other sons one is 6yrs and the other is 21 months old but he isn't going  the two older ones are going though

We are so excited about going I can't wait

So I figured anyone that wants to go on the walk, we should find somewhere to meet at a certain time. Maybe walk like 7pm-10pm on Thursday night? So that we get some of the daylight but definately get the night lights :)  Billagio has a beautiful water show, treasure Island has a sinking pirate ship etc...anyone that wants to go on the walk (this is for ANYONE but i decided to do this because my son is too young for the adventure park) Is everyone staying at the Riviera?  We will get there around 1pm on Thursday...jsut in time to check in and then get the the welcoming :)

Jathan is too young as well so I am up for something like taking a walk or the like.  We will be getting there late Wed night.  It will just be Jathan and myself as we couldn't afford for all of us to attend this year, maybe the next time.

Wow, this is coming up so fast!  A walk, or anything for a little ones and families would be great!  Can't wait to meet all of you.  My husband and I and Ryker will be going, leaving the other 2 at grandma's.  We will be coming in about 1 on Thursday (same flight as Samantha!).

You know I am terribly jealous but my thoughts will be with you-there is no way to afford it this year especially with our stay in pittsburgh for her surgery.  I pray you all travel safely and have a wonderful time together and the children are peaceful.  LOL
