Well All, I think I am going for it. I am going to try to get my Driver license. I check with the low vision opthamologist, and he told me the first step is to talk with the driving instructor. and then get fitted for the bioptics. When I went to the Eye doctor, I tested in at 20/200 vision and I think in my left Eye I am tested at 20/180 but I am not sure. I was wondering Is there someone out there like me that can give me some pointers? Someone that I can talk to about this before making a final call. I would greatly appreciate it if I can talk to someone. Thanks for reading this Deon.

It depends on what state  your in if you are going to be able to drive or not. If you can dirve it still maybe to with a restricted licence. You need to check www.biopticdriving.org  find out what are the rules for your state. I know that if you life in New York State you won't be about to dirve. If you can't drive are you willing to move to a good sized city or town that has good transportation?
