Are there any times that you wished that you were totally blind and not visually Impaired?
No, not at all, I wouldn't be able to do so many things I love doing
Do you think that you would have been treated differently if they were blind?
Yes, because someone who is blind would need much more assistance than someone who just had bad vision
Do you feel that because you are visually impaired that sometimes you are not taken seriously?
I might feel that way sometimes but I doubt it is true
What types of problems does your visual impairment cause for you?
Sometimes someone might ask me to look at something, and I have to ask them to let me see it so I can hold it closer. I rarely can read things when they themselves are holding it. Things like that and not being able to recgnize people right away, having to sit in the front row when your friends want to sit in the back, get old.
Have you ever been discriminated againist due to your visual impairment?
Not that I know of
Do you have friends their own age who are blind or visually impaired?
No. The only other person with albinism at my church (which has around 4 or 5 thousand members) is a 5th grader and I am going to be a 9th grader
Do you get tired of having to always educate people where you go about your visual impairmnent?
I usually enjoy telling them about albinism, its just when someone says things like "But you aren't albino...you're eyes aren't red" that annoys me.
Have you been introduced to the white cane and how old were you?
I trip up the stairs. 0_o
