    well...

Well, what do you like to do? What is your passion? Just because you think you need perfect vision to do things, you don't. There are many of us on this web board working in fields that "require" good vision, and we don't have it. I am a theatrical electrician. I play with light all day and  you MUST have good vision to do this job...eh wierd, I'm legally blind and I'm doing just fine! :) There are always techniques to get around that whole bad eyes part.

So... go after your dreams! Do what YOU want to do!

    Good luck!

This same happens in all walks of life, till now i never thinked on it with serious attitude. But now i want to chose right way where i can prove my potental in, now i understood that the field of sports is not for me. So friends suggest me something or anything related to it, ,, Post

    hey mazran

i totally agree with what Meghan had to say. I also have the same problem, but not making much of a big deal of it. In hightschl i majored in bio, chem and accounting. However, my problem was the formulae in chem, i kept messing them up due to my eye sight. I knew i was capable of doing the wokr but i got despondent so i gave up my hope of becoming a doctor because that required alot of math which i also kept messing up with numbers looking like all sorts of things from afar. Being a minority with my condition all my schl life, i've learnt to do math but as i got older obviously the maths got more advanced and the work level got harder and it was harder for me to cope. I've been scoring B's and C's all my life in math so it wasn't a big deal for me. Now that i've given up on sciences i'm planning to major in arts as.

    1, its very expressive and

    2. it only requres reading of histroy whereby the information is always constant. Anywhere you'd go there's always going to be the same information of that histroy. UNlike math, and chemistry u don't have to worry about what really was that number or formula that u missed in class and wondering if you;re studying the right stuff that u're not so sure u wrote correctly as notes. Going into a field whereby u'd take subjects such as arts, histroy, philosophy...etc that u'd only have to read is an easy way to cope with your poor vision. That's what i'll do. Besides, all you'd really be doing is looking at a book and understanding at your on pase whereby the book won't judge ur wabbly eyes and how weak they are.

if by now u've not found your true calling or comfort zone as yet,i hope this helps.

I know this must sound like a lame way to deal with your vision, but its working for me and hopefully it continues to work.

     ...hope this helped Bz
