hi all

i just had eye surgery and i dont have any improvement.

i use my left eye..

i feel that while using laptop or reading, i use my left eye and right eye remains close..

i see better when i see with my left eye as compared to when i see with both eyes..

do this happens with anyone?

,Re: left eye or right eye,Dude,i also had this same problem in diffrent way,i can read with both the eyes but my right eye is weaker then left one,i use my right eye in reading s and all minute stuff like that.And left eye when seeing a distance object and outdoors in sunlight my right eye cant immeditly adjusts with a sunlight. same happens with me also.

i can read with both eyes but when i close right eye, i can read better and i feel better

 

in sunlight, right eye remains close and right eye cant resist sunlight as compared to left eye

 

i had surgery tenotomy as well as squint surgery.

my nystagmus slowed down much and eye wobbles less but vision is as it is

no improvement in vision despite decrease in nystagmus.

 

there is lil bit squint still present in my right eye which i think i will get corrected if doctor recommends me.

mine is 20\200 left eye and 20\400 right eye

 

i have litytle squint still present in left eye

I don't read with my right eye closed but my right eye is worse than my left (20/60 in left, 20/80 in right without glasses)

Outside though I do close my right eye if it is too bright--sometimes I will clsoe my left eye instead but not as often. My left eye has always been the stronger eye.

It sounds like you might be talking about your dominant eye. I think most if not all of us have it. For me it's my right eye. I read best with my right eye. My left eye closes when it bright, and it's very hard to open until it's dark. Hope this helps.
