I am presently recovering from 30 radiation therapy treatments, and I'm unable to go back to school and unable to work. So today I have a lot of free time on my hands.
My brain is presently healing from brain tumours that medical professionals keep trying to get rid of.
You see, the thing is; I'm a very gifted artist and an excellent poet (when my health is fine). Poetry is power you guys.
Here is just one example of my copyrighted poems:
Living in Glass Houses
Angry people, confused and lost,
Still pay the price at such a cost.
Blocking out the childhood days,
Of innocence stolen from their ways.
Living in silence because of fear,
Too afraid to drop each lonely tear.
With pain so great, and causing strain,
Their heart's still crying like the rain.
Instead of going back in time,
They turn to alcohol, drugs and crime.
Whatever it takes to make it numb,
There are so many and not just some.
Viewing the world as a cold cruel place,
It's so easy to blame the human race.
But life doesn't really have to be this way,
They need someone to hear what they have to say.
To speak it, heal it, and grow like a seed,
A good listener is all they really need.
Feed back coming from one who knows,
Verbal impressions is where it all shows.

Once my body recovers from the radiation - I want to create some new political copyrighted poetry about Africa - so if anyone out there knows of any websites where I can submit it to - to help those in Africa - please don't hesitate to let me know as soon as possible, because I really want to help. I have written hundreds of poems, and over the years I've also been presented with several awards for outstanding achievement in poetry. I write about anything and everything. And most my poetry is very powerful and political. Perhaps my poetry can be used to some how help Africa.
As an elementary school girl I entered every drawing contest for certain occasions, and won all of them. Winning those contests was no big deal to me, because at the time I was just a kid - and the real reason why I competed was only to get the teachers off my back so they would finally leave me alone. Anyway - let me know if art or poetry or maybe even both would some how help Africa you guys. (It's just an idea).
P.S. I'm also a sculptor - born with several other artistic abilities. If that helps any.
Actually, To be honest - I've used several of my copyrighted poems to help families out before by publishing in newspapers - but in crisis situations when it comes to terrorism in third world countries? No - someone has to help me...
Please... Does anybody out there have any ideas?
Thank you.
