Andy is 18 months and has not shown any signs yet. His vision teacher has focused his vision to the center of his nose since he was 7 months. One of the reason why we are seeing dr. Hertle is so he can tell us where is null point is. Also, to see is Andy is using both his eyes or just his left. He seems to suppress his right eye. Vickie, I called for Rose and have yet to hear back. I am going to try again today. That would be wonderful to see you again so soon if we get the same day appointment! We do not think Andy needs any surgery for his nystagmus, but that wavelength test is what we really want to know. That is the 1st appointment we have then Hertle a few hours later.
Also, when Andy's nystagmus started it was a constant "scanning". Once he hit 12 months or so, it has slow to a jiggle counterclockwise motion.
