    IMPATIENTLY Waiting on Results

This is mostly just a vent...after a ridiculous amount of effort yesterday, I was finally able to get my 3 1/2 month old son's blood sent to Dr. White.  Any of you with questions on how to obtain a vial of blood for your child to be tested, feel free to contact me.  I am now intimately acquainted with this needlessly difficult process.  Anyway, I checked the FedEx tracking this morning like I had OCD...seriously every 10 minutes.  Dr. White has had Cameron's blood since 9:17 AM and he has not called me yet to give me the results (it's 3:31).  Does anyone have an idea how long it takes to get the results back from Dr. White once he has the blood?

I am very anxious to get the results back and am having a hard time being patient.  I normally would not be this paranoid, but Cam got a bruise this weekend from laying on a clasp.  He was laying on it for 30 minutes and there was a large indentation on his arm...but does this constitute easy bruising?  I don't mean to complain, but I really REALLY don't want him to have this.  Sigh... Smile

We have not had the testing done yet but I can be empathetic with you.  I am very impatient.

I can't remember if I heard from Dr. White the day he received the blood or the day after.  Zach had hernia surgery the day I sent Dr. White the blood, so I was more concentrated on his recovery from that.  Anyway, I know Dr. White will get back to you asap.  Also, remember this is a holiday week for some people, so hang in there!

Sorry...was a very busy week last week...so this is the first time I've had time to post.  We heard from Dr. White on Thursday at 1 PM (so the results took about a day and a half).  Cameron does NOT have HPS!!! :)
