I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about Dr Hertle. I was just woindering if he has a new office yet and where it is.

No news so far that I'm aware of.

I just got off the phone his old office and was told to call back the first week in March and they should have a number to give us.

That is great news - thanks for posting.  I have been searching the internet to see if he as turned up anywhere but have been totally unsuccessful.  Thanks again:)

I called their eye center and a staff named Bianca yesterday and left her a message.  She emailed me back later yesterday saying they hope to know Dr. Hertle's new contact info around the beginning of summer!  The number I called is 412-692-6828.

Dear Sandicone, this is very different from what you heard.  Can you please let us know what number you called and which staff you talked to if you remember?  Different sources might have different info, I guess.  Thanks!

I think it was 412-647-2200... Not real sure, I just found one of the numbers and called it. Sorry. I was going to give it a couple of weeks and try calling back. Thanks

I called earlier in the week and spoke with Whitney.  She said late spring or early summer before they will know.  They said all former patients will get a letter with the contact info.  She also said that if you are a nystagmus patient, there would be no benefit to seeing any of their remaining physicians.  She said they would only be able to offer general eye health exams, and you'd be better off seeing a local ophthalmologist until Dr. Hertle resurfaces.
