    White spots on skin

I think I've mentioned before that I DO have some pigment that allows me to tan, if only slightly (only I notice, haha). I have had white spots on my arms for the longest time, since I was about six. Now that it's summer they're more noteicable. The spots have no pigment what so ever, they're just white.

Can someone tell me what they are? I read somewhere that if you have albinism, you can have spots with pigment.

Don't follow your dreams. Chance them.

I'm really not sure. I have pink bloches on my arms but I doubt they're related to what you have? But if you're worried about them being noticed try cover-up or tanning lotion.... (=

    Re: White spots on skin

    Hey,

I realize this is a very late response but I am bored at work and browsing.

This is very funny because I just noticed these white spots in my arm. i am actually tan for thew first time after returning from a semester in South Africa. I have never been tan enough to notice but now, BIG contrast.

I got really excited when I found them because I have either OA or OCA2 and but for being pale I have "normal" coloring, brown hair, freckles, moles, etc. People don't believe I have albinism (it takes a lot of educating my friends) so getting to show my friends that I do actually have albinism (even if it is totally unrelated) is fun. They now refer to them as "albino spots."

In reality, I have no idea what they actually are haha
