Hello all!
I'm Cynthia, college student, and an avid classical music listener. I was born to Mexican parents and have lived in CA all my life. I am the oldest of 4, and my younger brother is also albino. Aside from albinism he was also diagnosed with severe mental retardation. He and I are not able to verbally share our experiences with albinism with each other, but I have served as his advocate with my parents and his teachers, as he cannot verbally communicate his needs. Having albinism, and having a brother with a severe disability has inspired me to give back and help others. So, I am in college, senior year, pursuing my BS in speech pathology and audiology.
Aside from school other interests include music. I began playing the piano at age 8, memorizing the sheet music as I cannot sight read. I love playing the piano and listening to classical music.
I am very happy to have found NOAH, as I now have the opportunity to meet people who are just like me :-)
