When my son was about 2 1/2 months old we were worried, he wouldn't look at us.. we took him in to our ped who also worried. The nystagmus worried us greatly, we had never seen it before! our Ped got us right in to a pediatric opthamologist who took one look and told us Jacob had OCA. We try not to treat him different. He is now in second grade and has loved to read till this year. the words keep getting smaller. he reads above his grade level and is very smart!
